What you will do

• Lead the operationalisation of key functions and implement strategies into partnership management and development.
• Oversee dedicated partnership portfolios, including the management of link tutors, external examiners, and local tutors.
• Manage partnership operations, including commercial negotiations, due diligence, and resource management.
• Chair key governance meetings such as Examination Boards, Partnership Development Meetings, and Academic Misconduct Panels.
• Develop and implement growth strategies for partners and contribute to the Annual Review of Partnership Operations (ARPO).
• Monitor partnership performance to identify risks and ensure data integrity in line with protection requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in London and available for monthly travel to Bolton.
• Relevant Master’s degree and membership of a relevant professional body.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK university working with academic partnerships.
• Proven experience in quality assurance oversight and chairing assessment boards.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams and external partnerships effectively.
• Deep understanding of current challenges in the UK Higher Education sector and academic quality structures.

Nice to have

• Teaching qualification and/or HEA Fellowship.
• PhD or equivalent professional achievement.
