Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom, with occasional attendance at the Milton Keynes campus (approximately once per month).
Salary: £59,966 to £67,468

What you will do
- Lead the delivery of high-quality distance-learning photography curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop engaging and accessible online module content covering photographic practices and visual communication theories.
- Serve as the Qualification Lead for the new BA (Hons) Photography degree.
- Manage academic members of the photography team and oversee quality assurance and examination processes.
- Develop a research and impact portfolio, strengthening links with the creative industries to facilitate knowledge exchange.
Requirements
- PhD in Photography or a related subject.
- Substantial experience developing and delivering photography curriculum in a Higher Education (HE) setting.
- Experience in leadership roles within Higher Education or the creative industries.
- A strong research profile with a track record of publications or equivalent practice-based work.
- Sustained professional practice in photography demonstrated by a creative portfolio.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience producing innovative distance learning materials that demonstrate vocational skills.
- Expertise in building ethical and sustainable photography practices.
- Understanding of AI-assisted and synthetic image creation and digital post-production workflows.
