TL;DR

Account Executive - RethinkEd (Western US): Drive growth across mid-size and large school districts with an accent on full sales cycle management and relationship building. Focus on prospecting, expanding adoption, and representing at conferences and events.

Location: Remote-first, field-based in Western US territory with on-site district engagements and conference attendance.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annual base salary

What you will do

  • Achieve annual revenue and expansion goals in Western US territory.
  • Build and maintain qualified sales pipeline across mid-size and large school districts.
  • Expand presence in existing districts by identifying new programs and opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with district leaders in Special Education, MTSS, and related areas.
  • Represent at regional conferences, events, and on-site engagements.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Services, Marketing, and Enablement for renewals and growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in sales or account management, ideally in K-12 education.
  • Deep knowledge of K-12 purchasing, funding, and decision-making processes.
  • Strong territory management, prospecting, and target delivery skills.
  • Experience representing at conferences and converting engagements to opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales productivity tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or related field preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling SaaS, curriculum, or professional development to school districts.
