TL;DR

Technical Program Manager (Robotics): Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across hardware and software workstreams to scale autonomous mobility solutions with an accent on cross-functional alignment and risk mitigation. Focus on driving execution for the Cruz™ Mobility Pod from pilots to scalable real-world deployments.

Location: Central Vancouver office

Salary: $100,000 – $180,000

hirify.global develops AI-enabled autonomous mobility technology, specifically the Cruz™ Mobility Pod, to improve accessibility and freedom of movement in complex spaces like airports.

What you will do

  • Coordinate interdependent hardware and software workstreams to accelerate new feature development.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, technical roadmaps, and clear ownership.
  • Proactively identify project challenges and devise risk mitigation strategies for dynamic scenarios.
  • Prepare and present progress reports on initiatives to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain relationships with strategic partners and third-party vendors.
  • Bring structure to a fast-moving environment to reduce friction and improve execution across the system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in deep tech or building technically rigorous, complex systems.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams to ship products to market as a Program Manager or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or another technical discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution, motivation, and mentoring.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for using Jira or similar project management software.
  • Must be based in Vancouver to work from the central office.

Nice to have

  • Experience with autonomous mobile robots or self-driving vehicles.
  • Knowledge of electronics, sensors, firmware, communication protocols, and power management.
  • Experience with mechanical design, CAD, and DFM principles.
  • Ability to write code, preferably in C++.
  • Understanding of modern AI/ML systems and experience integrating ML models into real-world systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD methodologies.
