What you will do

• Establish, lead, and develop the US System Studies team.
• Deliver and oversee RMS and EMT modeling, interconnection studies, system planning, stability, grounding, induction, and compliance projects.
• Drive sales and business development by managing customer relationships, qualifying opportunities, preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts.
• Manage technical, operational, financial, workload, budgeting, and resource-allocation performance.
• Support engineers through project delivery, technical coaching, training, recruitment, and career development.
• Represent Powertech as an industry expert and collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and HSEQ.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in power system modeling and studies.
• Experience with generator and load interconnection, system impact studies, power system planning, stability and control, or related areas.
• Advanced knowledge of contingency analysis, voltage stability, small-signal stability, transient stability, and control-system tuning.
• Expertise with DSATools, PSS/E, and PSCAD, including RMS and EMT generator or renewable model development and validation.
• Familiarity with ERCOT and/or MISO procedures and NERC and regional utility reliability compliance studies, plus proven leadership and business-development experience.
