What you will do
- Own new business development across brokerage partners, MGAs, and strategic clients from initial outreach to deal close.
- Identify and penetrate target accounts by leveraging industry relationships and market insights.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, driving opportunities forward with urgency and discipline.
- Position differentiated climate-driven insurance offerings by translating complex risks into compelling value propositions.
- Lead negotiations and deal structuring in collaboration with underwriting, product, and leadership teams.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of new business generation in insurance, reinsurance, or insurtech with a history of closing high-value deals.
- Deep experience and a strong existing network with brokers, MGAs, or commercial insureds.
- Demonstrated success in a "hunter" role, building pipelines from scratch.
- Strong commercial instincts and ability to influence underwriting conversations and structure deals.
- Executive presence and the ability to engage senior decision-makers with confidence.
- Background in property & casualty (P&C) or commercial lines insurance.

- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for disciplined pipeline management.
