What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a B2B sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Drive new business efforts, including pipeline development, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Oversee the end-to-end client journey from first interaction through onboarding and renewal.
- Partner with product and underwriting teams to design solutions that expand revenue opportunities.
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and success metrics to improve sales performance.
- Develop playbooks for prospecting and retention to balance high-touch service with efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience managing B2B sales teams.
- Prior experience in insurance or insurtech (P&C or reinsurance experience preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and winning new business.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for executive-level engagement.
- Ability to work hybrid in Madison, WI, or remote with travel to Madison.
