What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a B2B sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Drive new business efforts, including pipeline development, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end client journey from first interaction through onboarding and renewal.
  • Partner with product and underwriting teams to design solutions that expand revenue opportunities.
  • Build scalable reporting frameworks and success metrics to improve sales performance.
  • Develop playbooks for prospecting and retention to balance high-touch service with efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience managing B2B sales teams.
  • Prior experience in insurance or insurtech (P&C or reinsurance experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and winning new business.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for executive-level engagement.
  • Ability to work hybrid in Madison, WI, or remote with travel to Madison.
