Location: Wakefield, MA or hybrid; office-based with hybrid flexibility, primary location Wakefield, MA (or other agreed-upon office); up to 35% travel required; remote work may be considered per company policy

Salary: $170,000 - $240,000

What you will do

  • Provide strategic leadership for Retirement Fiduciary Services, evolving the advisory platform into an outcomes-oriented business lever for employers.
  • Lead, develop, and manage teams including plan advisors, CIO, investment analysts, and financial wellness educators, with focus on performance, KPIs, and succession planning.
  • Oversee fiduciary governance, regulatory compliance (ERISA, DOL/IRS), and high-quality review processes like IPS design and committee meetings.
  • Drive operational improvements, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Engage key clients and prospects at executive level, translating technical concepts into business outcomes and serving as executive sponsor for relationships.
  • Ensure transparency over business metrics like growth, retention, profitability, and participant outcomes; represent services in internal forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; relevant licenses/designations (e.g., FINRA Series 65/66, CFA, CPFA, AIFA, QPA, QKA) required or obtainable within timeframe
  • 15+ years progressive experience in retirement plan advisory, institutional consulting, or financial services, with significant leadership responsibility
  • Deep expertise in fiduciary governance, institutional retirement plans, plan design, investment consulting, ERISA standards
  • Direct experience overseeing investment teams (CIO/analysts) and plan advisor/client-facing teams
  • Proven track record in driving growth, profitability, and cultural change in advisory/consulting business
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, team leadership, and ability to manage complexity
