What you will do

• Define and drive the platform vision and long-term roadmap for cloud, database, and event infrastructure.
• Lead the AI transformation of the engineering organization, re-architecting workflows and implementing AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery.
• Improve developer experience and velocity by identifying and unblocking software delivery pain points.
• Ensure the reliability and uptime of core infrastructure, coordinating cross-functional responses during major incidents.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and individual contributors.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America or EMEA.
• Extensive experience building internal infrastructure platforms (cloud, database, event) treated as internal products.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and orchestration tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex).
• Proven track record of scaling platform engineering organizations and managing other managers.
• Ability to apply data-driven approaches to measure and improve engineering velocity and quality.
