Salary: $80,000–$105,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead a team building custom applications and integrating them into the company's technology ecosystem.
• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions in collaboration with the Director of Software and Platform Engineering.
• Drive the evaluation, pilot, and adoption of AI-assisted development, QA, and design tools.
• Manage technical delivery, including code reviews, solution assessments, and vendor coordination.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent through performance planning and coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Fundraising, and Marketing to define project scope and KPIs.

Requirements

• Must be currently residing in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3-5+ years managing engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Azure, React, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools and productivity measurement frameworks.
• Strong expertise in system integration, API governance (REST, event-driven), and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms such as Contentful, Optimizely, or Sitecore.
• Experience implementing or enhancing enterprise platforms like HRIS.
• Knowledge of best practices for off-the-shelf software implementation (configuration over customization).
