Operations Facilities Coordinator (Data Center Operations)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Based out of the Austin office, with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule in the future; travel to other sites is required.

What you will do

• Administer the site CMMS and manage preventative and corrective maintenance workflows for UPS systems, generators, chillers, HVAC, and fire suppression.
• Maintain asset records, equipment histories, spare-parts inventories, vendor service documentation, and operational reports.
• Own and control the operational library of MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs, including version control and safety approval routing.
• Develop and maintain facility policies, procedures, reporting standards, incident records, and performance metrics.
• Support internal and external data center audits by gathering evidence, tracking findings, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Coordinate with facility managers, engineering, safety, operations, and compliance teams, including root-cause analysis meetings and weekly team meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in critical-environment or data center facilities operations.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS tools, including system administration, configuration, and program ownership or coordination.
• Experience creating and implementing MOPs, SOPs, and safety policies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including dashboards and data visualizations from CMMS data.
• Familiarity with NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and similar regulatory standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center audits such as Uptime, ISO, or SOC audits.
