Sr. Engineering Manager, Tooling and Reliability Platforms (AI)

Salary: $136,125 - $283,750 per year

What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers responsible for the reliability and incident management ecosystem.
• Define the product roadmap for the reliability stack, replacing manual investigation steps with AI-assisted workflows.
• Drive the integration of GenAI and SRE Agents into production environments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establish the vision for next-generation Resilience Engineering, including automated diagnostics and self-healing systems.
• Manage high-leverage partnerships with key SaaS vendors to align their roadmaps with internal requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading SRE or DevOps teams in high-scale, cloud-native environments.
• Strong background in Software Engineering (Python, Go, or Java) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Deep familiarity with AIOps and incident management tools such as PagerDuty, Rootly, or BigPanda.
• Experience evaluating and refining AI-generated outputs in a technical or operational context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the USA (East Coast timezone preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with Chaos Engineering or BCP/DR planning.
• Previous implementation of large-scale AIOps or self-healing infrastructure initiatives.
