What you will do
- Investigate billing questions, identify root causes of invoicing issues, make corrections, and resolve to prevent recurrence.
- Execute outbound collections via phone and email for past-due invoices, secure payments or commitments, and convert to auto-pay.
- Open, manage, and document Salesforce cases for all receivables interactions, ensuring thorough records.
- Communicate proactively with customers on status and collaborate with service, installation, and operations teams.
- Track metrics, identify trends, create SOPs, and recommend process improvements during reviews.
Requirements
- Persistent, detail-oriented, with urgency, empathy, ownership, organization, and strong collaboration skills.
- Experience in receivables, collections, billing support, or customer account management.
- Ability to manage high-volume phone and email customer communication.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills for billing issues.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM for case management and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, managing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience in structured collections or accounts receivable environment.
- Background collaborating with service, installation, or operations teams.
- Driving auto-pay adoption or reducing delinquency.
- Root-cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
