Fraud Model Consulting Lead (Fintech/ML): Building and maturing the retro-as-a-service and POC programs to drive adoption of fraud products with an accent on interpreting ML model outputs and presenting business cases to technical stakeholders. Focus on converting retrospective results into production usage and bridging the gap between data science teams and customers.

Location: Hybrid (New York / San Francisco)

Salary: $190,800 – $286,800 per year

What you will do

• Own the retro and POC process end-to-end, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with customers to demonstrate the ROI of fraud products and provide implementation recommendations.
• Drive post-retro follow-through to convert results into active production usage.
• Act as a feedback loop between customers and product teams to influence the Protect roadmap.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role within fintech, financial services, or a related tech domain.
• Proven experience working closely with data science teams.
• Track record of managing consultative customer engagements and owning deliverables.
• Ability to interpret ML model outputs (e.g., precision/recall, score distributions) for non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from New York or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Background in data science or ML engineering, particularly on fraud or risk teams.
• Experience in fraud, identity, or risk management from a vendor, bank, or fintech perspective.
