Location: Hybrid (Lexington, Kentucky); 2 days per week on-site required with regular travel to HQ in Princeton

Salary: $136,800 - $184,800

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal counsel on hiring, performance management, terminations, and employee relations.
• Draft and oversee employee-related policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Lead internal investigations into employee concerns and advise on appropriate resolutions.
• Partner with the People Team to manage restructurings, disciplinary actions, and leaves of absence.
• Monitor employment law developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
• Collaborate with outside counsel on employment-related litigation and regulatory matters.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including time at a top law firm or in-house legal department.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Experience working with diverse employee populations, including remote teams and contractors.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
