Location: Hybrid (Lexington, Kentucky); 2 days per week on-site required with regular travel to HQ in Princeton

What you will do
- Provide strategic legal counsel on hiring, performance management, terminations, and employee relations.
- Draft and oversee employee-related policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Lead internal investigations into employee concerns and advise on appropriate resolutions.
- Partner with the People Team to manage restructurings, disciplinary actions, and leaves of absence.
- Monitor employment law developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
- Collaborate with outside counsel on employment-related litigation and regulatory matters.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including time at a top law firm or in-house legal department.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Experience working with diverse employee populations, including remote teams and contractors.
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
