Location: Remote - US. US based team members outside Pacific time zone expected to work at least six hours between 8 am and 5 pm Pacific time each workday.

Salary: Zone 1 $175,800 - $206,800 USD; Zone 2 $158,220 - $186,120 USD; Zone 3 $158,220 - $186,120 USD; Zone 4 $140,624 - $165,440 USD

What you will do

• Lead healthcare regulatory counseling on ERISA, ACA, anti-kickback, telehealth, licensure, and related laws for product design and launches.
• Manage U.S. and international regulatory reviews for new offerings and market expansions.
• Advise on privacy and data governance including HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, privacy-by-design, and data terms in agreements.
• Develop legal frameworks for AI/ML use, including data governance, bias mitigation, and compliance with regulations like EU AI Act.
• Support compliance programs, risk assessments, audits, third-party oversight, and cross-functional strategy.

Requirements

• J.D. from top-tier law school; admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing.
• 8-10 years healthcare regulatory, privacy, product counseling, compliance experience in healthtech, law firm, or agency.
• Expertise in U.S. healthcare regs (ERISA/ACA, anti-kickback, telehealth), HIPAA, state/global privacy (GDPR, CCPA).
• AI/ML legal experience in regulated industry, responsible AI, emerging regs.
• Product counseling for digital health launches; compliance program building.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, business judgment, communication in fast-paced environment.
