Salary: $212,000 — $292,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead the cybersecurity legal team and serve as a point of escalation for executives and cross-functional leaders.
- Draft and negotiate cybersecurity and privacy terms, including Master Subscription Agreements, Information Security Exhibits, and Data Processing Addendums.
- Advise on compliance with global security and privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and various US federal and state regulations.
- Support investigations into potential security and privacy incidents, focusing on mitigation and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain standards, processes, and runbooks for cybersecurity-related issues in Go-to-Market transactions.
- Review cybersecurity and privacy-related marketing and external communications for accuracy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience.
- At least 2 years focusing primarily on cybersecurity and privacy-related transactional matters, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- J.D. from a highly-regarded school and active bar admission.
- Deep knowledge of frameworks including NIST, ISO, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and HIPAA.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with practical business judgment.
- Experience with highly-regulated customers, especially in financial services (preferred).
