What you will do

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key manufacturing tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Execute continuous process improvement initiatives and evaluate existing workflows.
• Perform time studies to capture accurate part cycle durations.
• Generate reports to reconcile materials and track aged customer orders.
• Provide input on project strategies, processes, and execution.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an Industrial Systems Engineering or relevant Engineering Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be eligible for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate to Blacksburg, VA for the duration of the internship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
