What you will do

• Provide process time estimation and simulate manufacturing workflows using tools like REFA, MOST, and WITNESS.
• Coordinate process planning, takt, and cycle time during New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Analyze staff utilization and facility layouts to optimize the efficiency of workers and equipment.
• Recommend methods for waste reduction, workflow reorganization, and workstation relocation.
• Develop management control systems for financial planning, cost reviews, and production control.
• Lead initiatives to increase throughput and reduce costs using Lean, Automation, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 50% project dependent).
• Must be based in or eligible for domestic relocation to Columbia, SC.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or a related field.
