Salary: $104,000 - $145,333 per year

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Research Administrators, managing hiring, training, and professional development.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of grant, subcontract, and industry-sponsored proposals.
- Manage the financial oversight of the team's portfolio, including budget projections and cliff analyses.
- Cultivate relationships with collaborating institutions such as MIT, Harvard University, and affiliated hospitals.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor regulations for both pre- and post-award administration.
- Collaborate with finance teams and senior leadership to implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 7+ years of experience in federal and non-federal grant administration.
- Experience supporting faculty in a non-profit organization.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing applications.
- Location: Must be based in Cambridge, MA and able to work onsite at least two days a week.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with post-award financial management in research administration.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in sponsored research.
- Experience with financial systems such as Oracle or SAP.
