What you will do

• Define the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Workday Payroll, aligning with global People Technology and Finance objectives.
• Translate complex business needs from Payroll, IT, and Finance leadership into scalable technical specifications.
• Lead the design and implementation of high-impact integration solutions using PECI, PICOF, and Studio.
• Manage the full product lifecycle for payroll integrations, from discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Utilize Workday reporting and analytics to monitor system performance and provide recommendations for process optimization.
• Oversee technical relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., ADP) to ensure seamless data flows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Workday Payroll configurations and integrations.
• Deep understanding of Workday Payroll objects (GL, Paycodes, Taxes) and global HR business processes.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON to guide automated business logic.
• Advanced capability in building custom reports, dashboards, and hubs for data-informed decision-making.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, managing backlogs and iterative delivery.
• Must be based in the US (Bellevue, Chicago, San Francisco, or Washington DC).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other Workday modules such as Extend, Time Tracking, and Absence.
• Workday Certifications in Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking.
