TL;DR

HR Graduate (HR Operations): Supporting employee lifecycle and HR processes within a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment with an accent on onboarding, employee experience, and data management. Focus on implementing DEI initiatives, maintaining HR compliance, and completing a funded CIPD certification.

Location: Manchester/Stockport, UK. Must be UK-based; sponsorship cannot be offered.

Salary: £32,000 base salary

What you will do

  • Coordinate employee inductions, orientation programmes, and on-site engagement activities.
  • Manage employee queries and support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR metrics and reports for management.
  • Assist with compliance activities and the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects involving policy reviews, internal communications, and culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Law, or Social Sciences.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must be based in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Desire to complete a funded CIPD certification alongside work.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.
  • Experience using an HRIS system.
  • Basic understanding of onboarding, employee relations, recruitment, and payroll cycles.
