Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll cycles, including starter/leaver deductions, backpay, and statutory payments like SSP, SMP, SPP.
• Export timesheet hours and perform data reconciliations to avoid over/underpayments.
• Handle all pension-related activities and ensure compliance with scheme requirements.
• Act as first point of contact for complex payroll queries, explaining technical details to non-experts.
• Collaborate with finance for audits and ad hoc reporting.
• Liaise with payroll software providers to resolve technical issues and maintain system efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll and statutory payment processing.
• Confident communication skills to build internal and external relationships.
• Solid understanding of pensions processes and HR/Payroll system integration.
• Strong IT literacy, particularly MS Excel (VLookups and Pivot Tables essential).
• Experience in a busy HR or Shared Services environment.
