What you will do

• Own end-to-end production availability, delivering 99.999% uptime for critical services and defining SLAs, SLOs, RTO/RPO.
• Lead incident management, technical restoration during major incidents, cross-functional response coordination, and structured post-incident reviews.
• Manage disaster recovery and resilience engineering, including failover testing, chaos exercises, and elimination of single points of failure.
• Govern production changes and releases, enforcing canary releases, phased rollouts, feature flagging, and rapid rollback mechanisms.
• Oversee technology operations for cloud, network, hybrid infrastructure, observability tooling, 24x7 on-call, and automation.
• Operate security operations (SEC Ops), SOC monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and partner with CISO on incident response.
• Ensure operational compliance, audit readiness, vendor performance, and reliability engineering influence across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in senior technology operations, SRE, or platform leadership role
• Strong background in high-availability, cloud-based, or distributed systems environments
• Experience delivering five-nines availability or equivalent reliability targets
• Deep expertise in incident management, production operations, change governance, observability, and monitoring frameworks
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments and security operations in production
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organisations desirable
