What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team building the infrastructure that powers AI capabilities.
• Contribute directly to production code to maintain technical context and inform strategy.
• Collaborate with ML Scientists and Engineers to build AI-powered capabilities.
• Plan and prioritize high-impact roadmaps, balancing delivery, quality, and innovation.
• Improve developer experience across the AI infrastructure stack for better scalability and observability.
• Empower engineers to act with agency and maximize their overall impact.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams within an infrastructure or platform domain.
• Strong professional background as a software engineer.
• Proven technical judgment and ability to coach senior engineers through complex architectural trade-offs.
• Adaptable leadership style capable of managing a rapidly growing and evolving organization.
• Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how ML systems operate in production.

Nice to have

• Recent hands-on coding experience or notable open-source contributions.
• Experience alternating between EM and IC roles during your career.
• Previous experience building AI-powered products or platforms.
