What you will do
- Lead design, development, and lifecycle management of scalable digital products and platforms.
- Develop forward-looking technology strategy leveraging AI, ML, IoT, blockchain, edge computing, and real-time analytics.
- Embed automation, DevOps practices, and agile delivery across teams and partners.
- Build and lead multidisciplinary technology teams to maximize digital capabilities.
- Partner with digital, emerging tech teams, and external partners for growth-enabling solutions.
- Oversee resilience, security, and performance of technology ecosystem including SaaS platforms.
Requirements
- Senior-level leadership experience in UK energy sector or related digital/regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of UK energy market, government policy, and energy system.
- Proven track record in large-scale digital transformation, software engineering, cloud, and emerging tech.
- Experience scaling secure ecosystems with microservices, CI/CD, DevOps.
- Innovation mindset with history of embedding emerging technologies for business outcomes.
- Product-led experience collaborating with product, design, and behavioural insight teams.
- Ability to build and inspire diverse teams, engage stakeholders up to board level.
