What you will do

• Install and connect street lighting and highway electrical street furniture.
• Carry out routine and non-routine electrical maintenance, including fault finding.
• Supervise multiple team members during field operations.
• Perform testing and inspection in accordance with BS7671.
• Operate and maintain specialist company vehicles and equipment.
• Attend emergency call-outs as required.

Requirements

• Recognized apprenticeship or training programme.
• C & G 236 Parts 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 2 & 3.
• 18th edition BS7671 wiring regulations qualification.
• Valid driving licence and qualification to drive specialist vehicles.
• High degree of manual dexterity and ability to work independently or in a team.

Nice to have

• Current NRSWA accreditation.
• Full G39 qualification.
• CSCS accreditation via the Highways Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS).
• Extensive understanding of the Highways Lighting business and distribution network.
