Operational Technician (High Voltage Maintenance)

Location: Ireland; office/site-based with travel between sites across Ireland and the UK

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and execute maintenance and warranty works for high-voltage substations, synchronous condensers, and related plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with work specifications, statutory requirements, management instructions, and health and safety regulations.
• Prepare risk and method statements before work begins.
• Investigate and rectify faults, prepare quality and customer reports, and interpret test and inspection documentation.
• Complete maintenance records in the Maintenance Management System.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining or rectifying faults in high-voltage and low-voltage apparatus within a service environment.
• Working knowledge of quality and asset management systems.
• Electrical or mechanical qualification preferred.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365.
• Full valid driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across Ireland and the UK.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
