Team Lead D6/SG11 (Offshore Wind)

Location: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; homeworking and teleworking from home, with recurring offshore work on jack-up vessels and offshore platforms.

What you will do

• Provide expert troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and lifting systems during heavy lift operations.
• Support the safe and efficient execution of major component exchange campaigns on D6/SG11 and above turbine platforms.
• Guide and coach technicians and team leads through complex offshore tasks and critical lifts.
• Identify and escalate technical risks, challenge unsafe practices, and ensure compliance with procedures and permit systems.
• Capture lessons learned, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across offshore operations.

Requirements

• Proven offshore wind experience on D6 or SG11 and above turbine platforms.
• Strong heavy lift or major component exchange experience, including work on jack-up vessels or offshore campaigns.
• Advanced fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of lift plans, method statements, risk assessments, and offshore safety systems.
• Ability to lead by example, coach others, communicate clearly with operational and technical stakeholders, and maintain a safety-first mindset under pressure.
