Location: Sefton depot and project sites in the UK; reliable commuting to the Sefton depot is required for early morning starts.

What you will do
- Install, maintain, test, and repair low-voltage highway electrical equipment, including street lighting, illuminated signs, and traffic signals.
- Work alongside senior technicians on bespoke street lighting and highway electrical projects.
- Assist with electrical inspection, initial verification, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Participate in emergency call-outs and repairs for damaged roadside electrical assets.
- Apply health, safety, and environmental procedures in line with NHSS8 and HERS standards.
Requirements
- GCSEs at Grade 9–4/A*–C, including English and Mathematics.
- Good organisation, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to reliably commute to the Sefton depot for early morning starts.
- Age 18 or over and a full, clean driving licence are required.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at height.
- Availability to start full-time work immediately and motivation to complete the apprenticeship.
