What you will do

• Define and evolve the collections and recoveries strategy roadmap for delinquency and charged-off portfolios.
• Optimize net recovery performance by balancing return, cost, and customer experience.
• Design and manage external agency strategies, including allocation, performance tiers, and commercial tradeoffs.
• Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, such as AI collections strategy and segmentation redesign.
• Ensure all strategies align with regulatory requirements, including FCRA and UDAAP.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in collections or recoveries strategy within financial services or fintech.
• Proven experience owning portfolio-level strategy and driving financial outcomes.
• Experience managing and coaching at least one direct report.
• Deep understanding of collections economics, including net vs gross recovery and cost-to-collect.
• Must be based in the United States (required for regulatory and benefits compliance).
