What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and validation of battery cells, modules, and packs.
• Develop battery performance models focusing on electrical, thermal, and aging behavior.
• Oversee comprehensive testing programs, including cycle life, abuse testing, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery systems into end products.
• Support Battery Management System (BMS) development, including SOC/SOH estimation.
• Evaluate and select battery materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in battery chemistry, cell design, and pack architecture.
• Experience ensuring compliance with standards such as UL, IEC, UN38.3, SAE, and ISO.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Proven track record in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for battery reliability.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and conducting design reviews.
