What you will do

• Support daily production floor needs and maintain relationships with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Manage downtime events by providing technical guidance and drive problem-solving efforts.
• Design safety-compliant work operations and drive Continuous Improvement to eliminate waste.
• Create and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
• Lead equipment installation, debugging, and launch activities.
• Apply GD&T skillsets to ensure equipment and tooling meet design requirements.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Experience in engineering problem solving and working within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and basic machining methods.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and interest in agile methodologies.
• Ability to work non-standard hours (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of Machining process development experience with plant floor exposure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Team Center, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and Error Proofing Devices.
• Statistical problem-solving training and project management experience.
