What you will do

• Solve problems on the production floor and implement innovative solutions through root cause analysis.
• Design, develop, install, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
• Monitor equipment performance, optimize processes for yield, efficiency, and throughput.
• Perform equipment qualifications, process validations, and author protocols and reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers for equipment improvements and train production staff on processes and equipment.
• Develop specifications, characterize processes using statistical techniques, and support cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Roseville, CA, with potential exposure to cleanroom environments and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year relevant engineering experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or medical device industry.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, Lean/Flow Manufacturing, and manufacturing processes desired.
