What you will do

• Work side-by-side with the shop foreman and machinists on the production floor to support daily operations.
• Assist machinists in understanding engineering drawings and specific inspection requirements.
• Guide parts through the inspection process and resolve dimensional or tolerance discrepancies.
• Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce rework and inspection failures.
• Collaborate and communicate across engineering, quality, and production teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience interpreting and applying GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Experience working directly on a manufacturing shop floor with machinists.
• Must be able to work on-site in Hampstead, MD.
