What you will do

• Develop task and cost analyses and proposals for implementing new processes or improving existing ones.
• Design and select parts and tooling to meet customer specifications and expectations.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and resolve system malfunctions.
• Model alternate processing methods to test feasibility and reduce set-up times.
• Create engineering drawings for part fabrication and develop equipment and facility layouts.
• Optimize process flow and monitor equipment cycle times to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• At least 2 years of related experience in the specified duties.
• Proficiency in CNC Programming and Machine Tool Programming.
• Experience with AutoCAD (required) and Inventor (preferred).
• Practical experience with 6-axis industrial robotics and steel machining.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cognex Vision programming.
