Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead and conduct prompt, impartial investigations into employee concerns, policy violations, and misconduct.
- Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to assess risk and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach for managers on conflict resolution, sensitive conversations, and performance issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to employment laws and company policies in close collaboration with internal and external legal counsel.
- Develop ER analytics and identify patterns to provide trend-based insights that reduce organizational risk.
- Support culture initiatives and create manager resources and toolkits for performance management.
Requirements
- Must be based in or be able to work hybrid in Gaithersburg, MD.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, or a related HR function.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume ER caseload, including complex investigations and termination matters.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills to guide leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
