TL;DR

HR Generalist (HR Operations): Managing day-to-day HR functions for a client group of 150-200 employees with an accent on employee relations and policy implementation. Focus on improving HR processes, facilitating internal mobility, and ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Hawthorne, CA

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Counsel a client group of 150-200 employees and respond to day-to-day inquiries and complaints.
  • Partner with HRBPs to identify department needs and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and implement human resources policies, programs, and documentation.
  • Facilitate internal transfers, promotions, and conduct exit interviews to support retention.
  • Provide guidance on performance management and low-risk employee relations issues.
  • Train new HR team members on internal systems, processes, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1+ years of professional human resources experience (or 6+ months as a hirify.global HR Coordinator).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR compliance).
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience in engineering, production, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, UltiPro, and/or Workday.
  • Experience independently handling employee relations issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
