Location: Hybrid: Must report to Oshawa or Markham office three times per week minimum

Salary: $90,900 – $164,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of Vehicle Motion Control (VMC) features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop control and diagnostic algorithms using MATLAB and C.
• Create software requirements and ensure compliance with safety and government regulations.
• Analyze vehicle dynamic conditions to optimize feature and system design.
• Perform software unit tests, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and vehicle testing.
• Mentor new team members to foster knowledge sharing and capability growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls system development, including hardware/software integration.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for reading and debugging embedded system software.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong analytical and project management skills for managing complex assignments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7-10 years of experience in vehicle chassis controls.
• Knowledge of ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Levels) and OBD-II diagnostics.
• SAFe certification or DFSS Black Belt certification.
• Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing tools.
