What you will do

• Set visual direction, style guides, material standards, and quality benchmarks for projects.
• Review and approve work from artists, provide actionable feedback, and ensure consistency across large asset sets.

• Shape proposals, present to clients, handle feedback, and negotiate creative direction.
• Mentor artists, contribute to hiring, and advise on studio creative strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years in game art or 3D production, 3+ in art direction or lead roles; AAA/AA experience.
• Deep knowledge of 3D: modeling, texturing (Substance 3D), PBR, lighting, rendering.
• Experience across genres/styles, maintaining quality in large asset deliveries.
• Strong client communication, portfolio showing leadership, business development instinct.
• Experience in outsource/vendor studios; familiarity with AI-assisted art workflows.
