What you will do

• Define and communicate the project's overarching artistic vision, quality standards, and visual style.
• Lead and coordinate environment, character, animation, and UI art teams.
• Establish visual benchmarks, style guides, and workflows for consistency and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with technical art, design, and engineering to integrate art into the technical framework and game design.
• Mentor artists, provide constructive feedback, and support the development of the art team.
• Work with the Head of Art and Art Development Lead to raise visual quality across the studio.

Requirements

• Extensive experience directing art on AAA game projects.
• Deep understanding of current gaming trends, art styles, and production pipelines.
• Proficiency with industry-standard content creation tools and game engines, including Unreal Engine.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for video games and commitment to pushing creative boundaries.

• Experience developing open-world games.
• Track record of shipped AAA titles.
