Lighting Supervisor (VFX)

Location: Hybrid in Hamburg, London, or Stockholm

What you will do

• Plan and adjust the lighting team schedule with Production, considering the VFX Supervisor’s vision and crew capabilities.
• Develop and communicate the artistic vision and goals of each show.
• Lead, delegate to, support, and mentor lighting artists while promoting ownership and professional growth.
• Review and screen dailies for internal and client presentations.
• Streamline and unify templates and sequences.
• Collaborate across disciplines to improve workflows and participate in recruitment, training, and onboarding.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Houdini and Nuke.
• Experience as a Lighting Lead, Supervisor, or in a similar role.
• Strong artistic instincts in photography, filmmaking, design, and storytelling.
• A strong artistic eye and understanding of world-class imagery.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a structured approach to setups, templates, and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
