What you will do

• Work with product managers and engineering leads to execute the product roadmap.
• Hire, mentor and guide engineers on technical tasks and career development.
• Collaborate with customer support to manage escalations.
• Provide technical support to solutions team for pre-sales activities.
• Ensure unwavering commitment to quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science or related discipline (or extensive related experience).
• 10+ years as hands-on engineer or leader in large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years in lead/management role for software development teams.
• Experience building and leading strong engineering teams in distributed systems.
• Technically proficient to drive tradeoffs, execution decisions and dive deep into technology/strategy.
• Ability to manage geographically distributed teams, schedules, people and budgets.

Nice to have

• Exposure to public/private cloud development with big 3 clouds, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Node.js, Python, Golang.
• Understanding of open-source projects.
• Application development in cloud-native landscape, serverless, SaaS in Kubernetes ecosystem.
