TL;DR

Engineering Manager (AI): Leading a team in Budapest to develop hirify.global’s next-generation AI and machine learning platform with an accent on enterprise-scale Generative AI applications and foundation models. Focus on driving architecture, delivering scalable platform capabilities, and fostering the professional growth of engineering reports.

Location: Must be based in Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define and deliver platform capabilities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Drive technical architecture, design, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Address gaps in team processes and organizational workflows.
  • Support customers in understanding and effectively utilizing platform products.
  • Lead by example in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Budapest, Hungary
  • 8+ years of experience in building enterprise software and 2+ years of management experience.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and building systems at scale.
  • Experience with containerization frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship or relocation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, RAG, fine-tuning).
  • Experience with AI/ML orchestration software (Kubeflow, KServe).
  • Proficiency in Golang, Node.js, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Big Data tools (Spark, Hive).
