TL;DR

Field Support Representative (Medtech): Providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of surgical robotic equipment with an accent on biomedical equipment calibration and troubleshooting. Focus on ensuring high system uptime at customer sites and optimizing service procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Must reside or live within 1 hour of New Jersey International Airport areas. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Salary: $39.67 - $46.67 per hour

What you will do

  • Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate biomedical equipment at customer sites following official manuals.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, hardware repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Manage field service databases to track customer configurations and parts inventory.
  • Train internal personnel and distributors on the correct operation and servicing of equipment.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, QA, and Sales teams to report trends and improve procedures.
  • Provide remote technical support to customers and field personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience and an Associates degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Strong complex problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with hospital administration and clinical staff.
  • Ability to comprehend and write complex technical instructions and procedures.

Nice to have

  • Experience in life sciences or the healthcare industry.
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
