What you will do
- Review and update manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment.
- Design the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Develop sequences of operations and specifications for the fabrication of tools and equipment.
- Inspect machinery and tool performance to identify deficiencies and initiate corrective actions.
- Implement and develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control (SPC).
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design concepts to optimize the use of equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire (sponsorship is not available for this level).
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Danvers, MA.
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding, assembly processes, and fusing technologies.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Previous experience within the medical device manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with basic statistical analysis or statistical software.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, equipment setup, or process experiments.
