What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding for customers using Platform9 Managed OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with customers to design optimal cloud-native solutions leveraging automation.
• Provide expert guidance on OpenStack and Kubernetes architecture, networking, storage, and compute management.
• Educate on best practices for infrastructure management, upgrades, monitoring, scaling, and efficiency.
• Implement automation with Terraform, Ansible, Golang, Python, Bash, and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver professional services per statements of work.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for feedback and improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes, including deployments, operations, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Profound knowledge of cloud-native technologies: CI/CD, containers, microservices, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), DevOps practices.
• Strong skills in automation scripting with Go, Python, Bash.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure: networking, storage, compute, security in OpenStack.
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with managed services or SaaS platforms.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS).
