What you will do

• Lead delivery teams in designing and building AWS solutions using services like Control Tower, EKS/ECS, S3, Transit Gateway, and EC2.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and develop deployment plans for client infrastructure.
• Mentor team members, educate clients on leading practices, and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Review daily progress, challenge technical approaches, and ensure project governance and accountability.
• Partner with Engagement Managers on customer communications and pre-sales demonstrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years as Solution Architect, including 3+ years architecting and building AWS infrastructure
• 1+ year infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) and DevOps tools (GitHub, GitLab, AWS Code Suite)
• Knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3), SysOps, and cloud security architecture
• At least one AWS Professional certification; proficient in IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), config management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet), and scripting (Python/Java/Node)
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall, high-availability deployments, data center ops, and strategic thinking
• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and ability to handle multiple clients

Nice to have

• Additional AWS certifications (Developer/SysOps/Solution Architect Associate)
• Container development and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS)
• CI/CD code analysis tools (AWS X-Ray, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)
• Prior management experience
