What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of RHOSP 17.1-based cloud environments, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Manage day-to-day OpenStack operations to ensure system uptime, stability, and performance tuning.
• Implement automation for backups, configuration management, and disaster recovery using Ansible and Git.
• Integrate RHOSP telemetry (Ceilometer/Prometheus) and alert pipelines for advanced observability.
• Ensure security and compliance by validating configurations against STIG and RHOSP 17.x standards.
• Create detailed technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for operational readiness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Linux system architecture and administration with RHEL and RHOSP (preferably 17.1).
• Proven experience architecting and operating private or hybrid OpenStack clouds.
• Strong expertise in Ansible, Terraform, Git, and automation workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Alert manager, Grafana, and STF.
• Must be located in Georgia, US.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with iSCSI/NFS storage and GPU integration within OpenStack.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Red Hat security frameworks.
