What you will do

• Execute data acquisition roadmap, lead third-party data agreements, contract negotiations, and vendor QBRs.
• Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT workflows, validation, transformation, and integration into internal platforms.
• Enforce data governance, quality metrics, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR), and maintain documentation like data dictionaries and lineage.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, Legal, R&D, Clinical, Commercial, and Regulatory teams on data needs and processes.
• Drive process improvements, root cause analysis for data issues, and support budgeting for data projects.

Requirements

• 5–8 years in Data Management, Strategy, Quality, or Analytics in biotech, pharma, or life sciences
• Proven experience managing third-party data vendors, contracts, and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, metadata, cataloging, and data pipelines.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and regulatory/privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Proficiency in SQL and data pipeline tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder skills.
